  • While Gillian has always been a booklover, her drive to tell her own stories started in 2016. As most first-time authors, she struggled for years to sit down and actually write the book. It wasn’t until 2020 that she began dedicating all of her free time to honing her writing skills. On a whim, in 2023 she reached out to her sister, asking if she would like to co-author a novel with her. What started out as an attempt for them to spend more time together soon flourished into multiple stories and a dream to one day share them with the world.

    As an avid reader herself, Gillian draws inspiration from many extraordinary authors. Some of the remarkable authors that captured her heart were:

  • Inspired by authors like Sherrilyn Kenyon (McQueen), Anne Rice and L. J. Smith, Sally O’Connell strives to make stories that not only ignite one’s imagination, but stories that also inspire her readers.

With dreams as their inspiration, the O’Connell sisters craft enchanting tales of fantasy and romance, hoping to create memorable stories for readers to cherish. After years of flirting with the idea of spinning their own ideas into fanciful sagas, these sisters culminated their talents in 2023 to breathe life into new worlds. Early 2024, brought a dream that changed their lives forever. Ravenous Deception was born. Putting pen to paper, the sisters worked tirelessly to bring readers the first installment in their series, The Hargrave Empire.
